He was the President of Commandery. #411, Wa between 1998 – 2001, 1st Vice President between 2009 to 2013 and has been the Grand Master, Peter Cardinal Porekuu Dery Chapter of Chevaliers from 2020 to date.
Brig. Gen Andrew A. Kpan was Headmaster, St. Ignatius Loyola Senior Secondary School, Lassia Tuolu from 1995 – 2006. Director of Education, Lawra District, from October 2006 till his retirement in 2011
