Brig. Gen. Engr. Sir Joseph Charles Osei

Biography

Sir. Engr. Brig. Gen. Joseph Charles Osei was initiated into Commandery No. 392, Tamale in 1986. He became the Commandery president between 2004-2005. At the level of the District, he became the Commander of the 13^th District Commandery Tamale from 2009 To 2014.

From a Grand Guard position between 2000 -2002, he rose through the ranks to become the Tamale Grand president from 2017-2019. Under his leadership, the Grand expanded its footprints with many new commanderies created to his hard work.

At the Level of the Supreme Subordinate Commandery, Ghana, he is currently the 1^st vice president. A position he has held from 2022 till date.

At the Supreme Commandery, U.S.A, Sir. Engr. Brig. Gen. Joseph Charles Osei from 2012- 2016 became the ADC to General Dale Gossiaux, Supreme President and earlier from 2009 -2012 ADC to General Timothy Hoerst, Supreme President.

Sir. Engr. Brig. Gen. Joseph Charles Osei is a Chartered Electrical Engineer, from the Institute of Engineers. He obtained a BA, Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Applied Mgt. Germany and an Education certificate from the University of Cape Coast.

On the 1^st of December 2018, he was Knighted by Pope Francis into the Order of St. Sylvester.  A Board member of several educational institutions including St. Mary’ Technical School Tamale and Catholic Youth Centre, Tamale.

In 2005 he was appointed as an Examiner for Technical Exams Unit, Ghana and Chief Juror at the Tamale High Court from 2003. General Osei Founded BIBIR GHANA, NGO, Tamale in 2005 and he is currently the chief executive officer offering invaluable services to many communities in northern Ghana.
