Noble Sister Cecilia Patience Koomson

Biography

Noble Sister Cecilia Patience Koomson was born on October 9, 1963, and initiated at St. Teresa Junior Aux # 87, Cape Coast, in 1977. Became the Jnr Auxiliary president from. 1980 – 1984

Initiated – St. Teresa Ladies Auxiliary # 324, 1985and became the Ladies’ Aux. President from 2004 to 2008

She was awarded a Noble Degree on 11th August 2007. Through various offices, she became the District 7 President, Cape Coast Grand from 2010 – 2017 and Cape Coast Grand President, from 2017 – 2023

She was the Convener of the committee for the Mystical Rose Award, 2023, and Secretary to the Committee for the Junior Aux. Handbook, 2023 and currently the Supreme Subordinate Deputy Organizer.

Noble Sister Cecilia Patience Koomson obtained an MPhil in Educational Administration from UCC in 2013, a B.Ed., in Special Education, University College of Education, Winneba, 2001 and a Diploma, School of Ghana Languages, Ajumako, 1993

Noble Sister Koomson loves to teach and has taught in various institutions from 1985 to date. Notable among the places she taught were Breman Asikuma Catholic Girls Home Science Centre, St. Teresa Minor Seminary, Amisano, Aggrey Memorial AME Zion SHS, 2006 – 2023

At Church, she was Coordinator of – Education Committee, St Francis de Sales Cathedral (2006 – 2009), Vice Secretary – of PPC, St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast (2019 – 2022), Vice President – of PPC, St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast (2023 -) Lector – St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, Coordinator – Faith Formation, St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast. Member – Development committee, St Francis de Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast, Member – Planning committee for Archdiocese of Cape Coast Synod

Noble Sister Cecilia Patience Koomson loves to listen to gospel music and Read as a pastime.
