Noble Sister Clara Ayensu

Biography

Noble Sister Clara Ayensu is a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Auxiliary #330, Takoradi and initiated into the Order on 22nd February 1976, attaining her Noble Degree award in July 1996.

She was the president of her Auxiliary between 1994 -1998 and rose through the ranks to become the Cape Coast Grand Ladies Auxiliary president between 2003 -2007. At the apex of the Order in Ghana, she is currently the 2nd vice president.

Noble Sister Clara Ayensu Schooled at St. Louis Teacher Training College, Kumasi between 1969 and 1973, graduated as a professional teacher and became a headmistress with various ranks to the level of Assistant Director. She is a retired Educationist having lived all her professional career educating and imparting knowledge to thousands of Ghanaians.

At her parish at Our Lady Star of the Sea Cathedral Parish, Takoradi.  Noble Sister Ayensu held various positions including a past member of the Parish Finance Committee, Past Diocesan Coordinator of Missionary childhood, Ladies Auxiliary representative of the Parish Pastoral Council 2000 -2003 and President of Takoradi Cathedral Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) – June 2006 – 2009

Noble Sister Clara Ayensu manages Clafil Trading & Hospitality, a business that supplies dispensable bottled water to banks, schools and individuals.

She has 4 children, and 8 grandchildren and loves reading, relaxing and listening to gospel music and hymns, visiting the aged and the sick.
