Noble Sister Aisha Cecilia Armah was initiated on 22 March 1997 into St Thomas More Aux. 419, Achimota and was elected Recording-Corresponding Secretary between 1998-2002 and later President from 2002-2006. She subsequently became the first President of Accra District 8.
Later, she became the Accra Grand Recording-Corresponding Secretary from 2011-2013, Accra West Grand Second Vice President from 2013-2017 and First Vice President from 2017-2023, culminating in her election as Accra West Grand President in July 2023, a position she holds currently.
At the Supreme Subordinate level, she became the Recording-Corresponding Secretary between 2019-2023. She served on the Knighthood Forum (the National Consultative Forum of Catholic Knights and Ladies) as a member (and one-time secretary) from 2012 to date. she received the Noble degree (Queen of Saints award) in 2018 and later transferred to St Thomas Aquinas Aux. 782, Legon in 2021.
A past student of Holy Child School and Wesley Girls’ High School, both in Cape Coast, holds a BSc (Building Technology) from KNUST, Kumasi, and a Post Grad. Dip. In Urban Management from Institute of Housing and Urban Development Studies, Rotterdam and Executive. MBA (Project Management) from the University of Ghana Legon
Noble Sister Aisha Cecilia Armah worked at Bank for Housing and Construction in various capacities as a Project Officer, Technical Officer and Credit Officer in the Engineering Services, Housing Finance and Credit Control Departments for 15 years.
In 2001, she joined Regimanuel Gray Limited as the Chief Quantity Surveyor/Head of, the Quantity Surveying Department until 2003 when she resigned to work at National Investment Bank. At the Bank, she became the Head of the General Services Department, and Human Resource Management Department until she retired in 2020.
She is married with three children and two grandchildren. Her spouse is a member of St Thomas Aquinas Comm. 911 and her daughter is a member of St Thomas Aquinas Aux. 782, Legon. She is a parishioner of St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Legon where she serves as an Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Eucharist and also the Chairperson of the Parish Building Development Committee.
