NS Dame Comfort Boakye Mensah

Biography

Dame Comfort Boakye-Mènsàh was Born on 04/03/1959 in Kumasi and joined the Knights of St. John International and Ladies Auxiliary on the 23^rd of July 1983. By dint of hard work, she rose to become the President of St Theresa’s Auxiliary #319 Kumasi from 1998 -2002.

She held various positions in the Order from the District to her current role as the president of the Kumasi Grand Ladies Auxiliary.

Dame Comfort Boakye-Mènsàh holds an MBA in Human Resources from KNUST

She was the Principal of St Louis College of Education Kumasi from 2013 -2021

With a relentless zeal for God’s work, she became the Church president of St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica Kumasi from 2006 – 2012 and later the Chairman of Kumasi Archdiocesan Pastoral Council from 2008 -2022

The church recognised her sterling contributions and dedication to service and was honoured with a Papal award of the Dame -ship of St Sylvester Pope and Doctor of the Church.
